My second graders are amazing! (all seven and eight-year-olds are!). They are at an age of exploration and hope for their futures. Those futures will surely be filled with technology, and yet many of my students are unsure of how to use a mouse. We live in rural Utah. Farm fields and oil pumpers abound. My students have access to one community library with ten computers. Many students would need to drive over twenty minutes to access these computers.
