My students are primarily Asian pacific Islander and descendants of many from the plantation days. It is a small, but close community that is low income and limited in resources. The school is a k-12 school with a feeder school from the neighboring town. I teach the high school health core, health, and some P.E. My students have dreams and aspirations but do not have a lot of hope. I want to help make their dreams a reality for those interested in the health and medical fields.
