I teach in a Title I school where most of the students are on free or reduced price lunch. Parents of my students often don't have money to spend on extra items such as books because they are focused on keeping a roof over their head and food on the table for their family. My students aren't going to let anyone or anything hold them back from the greatness they are destined for. They are hard working, energetic students who want to be successful readers and are striving for a better life through education.

About my class
