My students were immediately excited. They feel like our classroom is a place where they could truly have fun while learning.\r\n\r\nWe began using the resources almost immediately to turn language acquisition into an engaging experience. We have used the Splash! Reading Games into our routine for phonetic skill practice. The Sight-Word Bingo sets (Levels 1, 2, and 3) allow me to differentiate instruction easily in a play-based format. I am most excited about the 'Ready to Write!' Prompt Boxes. These are appropriate for journal entries and for all students regardless of their current English level. One of the other things I have noticed is that my students seek quiet and comfort more than in past years. I wrote this project in order to meet this need. I created a cozy corner spot with a comfy chair, big soft cushions and warm blankets. I have a variety of sensory toys, a white noise machine and a diffuser. All that was missing was these items to offer. When I put the puppy and galaxy blanket on the chair, they immediately noticed them and wanted a turn trying them out. When I introduce new things, I make sure everyone gets a turn the first 2 days, then they can use it when needed. \r\n\r\nThis project and your support allows me to equip them with everything they need to be successful this school year. When the boxes for our \"Wiggle and Learn\" project arrived, my students were buzzing with excitement. As we unveiled the new flexible seating and movement resources, one of my students literally jumped for joy, exclaiming, \"Is this for our classroom forever?\" Seeing their eyes light up was a beautiful reminder of how much it means to them to have high-quality resources that support their unique learning needs.\r\n\r\nWe have already put these resources to work during our daily lessons. For instance, during a recent small-group reading session, several students used the new wobble cushions while focusing on their phonics work. I noticed an immediate difference in their ability to stay on task; the subtle movement allowed them to channel their energy productively while staying deeply engaged with the text. These tools have truly turned our classroom into a more dynamic and inclusive space where every student feels comfortable and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are starting a new unit on triple digit addition. With these resources, my students now have the freedom to choose the learning spot that helps them do their best work.
