The school I currently work for is a "trauma sensitive school". The children who attend this school, need extra love, care and support. They need extra help managing their emotions! Before Covid-19, each room had a calming corner where students could go to calm down and take a break. But with Covid-19, calming corners are not allowed in the rooms anymore. By each child receiving their own individual calming kit, they will still be able to calm down at their seat and not worry about spreading germs to their classmates. Now more than ever students need strategies to help with their emotions!

About my class
