The books I am requesting for my students will make a difference to them because access to these books will foster a love of reading. The books will continue to spark curiosity and a love of learning. Having these books will allow students the opportunity to read both fiction and non fiction books. This project gives my students access to "just right" books at their independent reading levels. Therefore, my students will develop the habits and skills of poised readers. They will feel a sense of accomplishment and success. Furthermore, strong literacy skills and good reading habits will help my students become productive citizens who contribute to their community and the global world.

About my class
