We are a mild/moderate special education class. We are a class of wonderful caring students who really have a sense of community. Sometimes I have to ask them to share things, and they are always willing and eager to do so. there are times where I wish I didn't have to ask them to share. We got 4 SitBall chairs from a district grant recently and they are a huge hit in the class. I am just sorry that the students can't all use one when they are in the room. I sometimes have as many as 9 students in the class at one time. They all have varying disabilities, but generally have a really hard time sitting perfectly still. The need to fidget slightly sometimes distracts them from what they should be learning in class, so we are always trying to find ways for them to fidget and still be paying attention.
