My students are a wonderful group of young people that have overcome so many struggles in their young lives. My students are very diverse. Some of them are immigrants. Almost all of them come from low income homes. Some of them have disabilities. They attend the charter school because their families want better for them. They work hard every day, and love learning. Despite the difficult circumstances of their home life, my students are tackling difficult material with enthusiasm, and are grateful for the opportunities they have. I love working with them!
