The two grade level chapter books that I chose for my students will help them greatly with second language acquisition and transitioning into English both socially and academically. I included a notebook, pencil and eraser so they can comment and summarize at the end of each chapter, helping them with proper syntax. The highlighters and post-its will help to make notes while reading. This year it is especially important to fill in the gaps of missed objectives for our students! Please help me to give them some of the tools needed to fill in these gaps of learning.
