My students are smart and determined. They love smiling and are always eager to raise their hands to answer questions. My students work together as a class to succeed! Teamwork is everything! Our school community is located in a high poverty urban setting where 96 percent of our students qualify for free or reduced lunches. We are entering our third year as a turn around school and our students are already making remarkable gains on their state test scores. Although my students face many challenges, they come to school ready to learn with a positive attitude.
