This past year the social emotional needs of my students, their families, and our entire school community was at an all time high. The resilience of my students shined through in our unprecedented pandemic. It shined a light on just how important the saying “it takes a village” is! Through this training I will gain tools needed to help students grow their social emotional health and wellness in and out of our classroom. This is an area that is so important to help our youngest students grow and develop in. This is a high priority right now in our current academic climate with new restrictions and changes happening every day. Your support in helping me reach my goal will give the students in kindergarten the "wellness toolboxes" they need to reach their greatest potential socially and emotionally, which will only further their academic goals. At the end of this training, I will be prepared to lead wellness experiences and social-emotional learning for my students and school community. I will also be a certified yoga instructor and qualified to lead my class in movement breaks, whole wellness classes and everything in between. Thank you for your support!
