Our science club at our school has been gardening for the last 6 years and due to recent storms, we need to repair plots so they can be used again. We currently only have 3 of our 8 plots available for planting due to the flooding from the Hurricane Florence. These requested plots will allow us to finish planting our fall crop of broccoli, kale, onions, and cabbage. Gardening teaches our kids sustainability, community spirit ( we give all of our crops away) and how to be self sufficient. Plus, they love to be outside and in the dirt! Thanks for considering our project.
