Since my students learn best using a variety of strategies including hands-on activities, the Osmo Genius Kit and add-on games are the perfect way to incorporate a fun way to learn and practice a variety of skills. The Osmo Genuis Kit, like it is mentioned in the title will foster creativity and problem-solving skills in a hands-on way. There are five games that come with the Osmo Genius Kit including Numbers (free form math), Masterpiece (super hard your drawing), Words (words fun in puzzle form), Tanagram (spatial thinking), Newton (creative problem solving). The add-on games work together with the base that comes with the Osmo Genius kit. The Pizza Co. add-on game gives students a fu experience running a pizza shop. They make pizzas and sell them, having to work with money, making change, etc. Coding is a skill that the technology department has began teaching students across the country. My students have a difficult understanding the concept behind coding, which is why I am requesting the coding add-on game. Giving students a hands-on way to help them understand coding in a different way.
