This is my first time teaching English and I am attempting to build my classroom library. My students love to read, but are from a range of reading levels. To help build a students reading ability is to get them to read! One good way to help develop a love of reading is to have a expansive and diverse library. A classroom library is especially helpful as students have direct, easy, access to books that they will love reading. My students come from diverse backgrounds, and the books on this list are as diverse as they are. Additionally, they love sci-fi, so I chose books that will ignite their imagination and bring them to worlds they never knew existed.
