The 30 students in my 6th grade class are eager to learn and love to discuss current issues. They very from all walks of life - from wealthy to homeless or from sever learning disabilities and handicap to brilliant and fast learners, and they come from all over the globe. Half of my class is new to this area and the other half has been here their whole lives. Some speak 3 languages while others only speak one - and I don't speak theirs. Some are suffering from neglect and physical abuse while others are suffering from over protective, in your face about everything, make sure your perfect parents. They need something to bring them together. A common cause.
