Located in an inner city, dominated by apartment complexes, my students have little access to play grounds and safe parks. Each year my 5th graders are challenged to pass the "President's Physical Fitness Test". Run a mile, sit-ups, push-ups, and flexibility are difficult activities for my sedentary students.
