I currently teach 4th grade in one of the 5 public elementary schools in Palm Coast. Although Palm Coast is a small community, we have a very diverse school population which has a great desire to learn. In addition to teaching the basic subjects of math, reading, science, social studies, and writing, I also have to teach basic skills such as sharing, getting along, and being organized. These skills are essential for success. It is important to set up the classroom so that the students have every opportunity to stay organized and successful, and provide students with materials to help with engagement.

About my class
