The students in my classroom have multiple physical and cognitive disabilities. Their abilities range greatly from toddler to early elementary skills. My students come from all over the district, but they have one thing in common, they want to learn. My students come primarily from disadvantaged homes where the parents are struggling to deal with life and the myriad of issues that having a child with multiple disabilities bring. Our classroom mission is for these students to learn to the best of their ability and for them to grow up healthy and happy. The ability to communicate is important in all areas of their education and growth.
