Many of my students have only seen tennis rackets on television. It will thrill them when they are able to grasp the tennis rackets and hit the ball for the first time. Acquiring the tennis net will allow my students the opportunity to volley a tennis ball over the net. Having their faces light up after winning a point will bring great satisfaction to themselves, their parents and myself. The skills and physical activity they experience through the use of the materials is something that will never be taken away from them. Even though they may have other struggles and challenges at home, they will learn how to focus by learning determination on the tennis court. Through perseverance my students will consistently learn to push through any obstacle, either on, or off the court.
