The chaos and noise of the world today can be overwhelming. My students have to navigate so much just to make it to school, let alone be in a place where they are emotionally ready to learn. I am creating a calming room where students can take a moment to get a in an emotional place where they can learn. These bean bag chairs will help create a comfortable environment where students who need to take a moment to self regulate can relax. The space will be used to hold multiple support groups. Our self-care and grief groups will be able to move into a better space for healing to occur. These Bean Bag chairs will create a space where my students can relax their minds and their bodies. This new space will be able to provide healing to students who have lost so much during this pandemic.
