The beginning of the year, is the best time to learn about my students and for them to learn about themselves. When it comes to building confidence and making friends, there is no better place for my students to discover themselves than this 2-day camp experience. The camp provides expertly trained staff to safely guide us as we explore an array of activities, from zip lining to kayaking to conquering the Alpine Tower. Camp is all about teamwork and being placed in situations where students will need to face their fears and rely on one another for support to conquer missions. Together, all of our fifth graders will experience outdoor activities which include nature walks, exploring the forest, fishing, fire and shelter building, and kayaking. My students will have a hands-on and complete outdoor experience, trying new activities that build character and change lives for good.
