I teach motivated and resilient students at school. We were on distance learning last year due to the COVID pandemic, and were unable to play as an ensemble. The 2 Kala baritone ukulele we are hoping to add to the ensemble will allow our students to easily transition from ukulele to guitar, an instrument they are able to learn in 8th grade and high school. Currently, we have no baritone ukulele available to use. As we welcome students back to campus, we are looking forward to safely earning and making music together. In addition to the two baritone ‘ukulele, I am asking for equipment that will help us maintain our existing instruments, and enable us to safely learn, rehearse, and perform in an outdoor setting. Your donation will support our music program both in-person and online again if we need to.
