Welcome to my classroom! In this room, seventh grade students come for math and science instruction each day. The school is a public school located in a large urban city, and, despite the high needs of many of our students, our school continues to grow and be successful each year. Our student population is composed primarily of Hispanic students. The rest of our student population includes students of Asian descent, white students, African American students, and students from Middle Eastern countries. Many of our students are the first generation of their family born in the United States. Also, as many of our students themselves are immigrants, many of these children are learning English as a second language. Despite the difficult obstacles that many of these students face, we are an enthusiastic community of learners!
