Our public school is nested at the bottom of the San Gabriel Mountains. We are about 20 miles from Los Angeles. My class is very culturally diverse. 20% of my students are receiving free or reduced lunches. Many of my 26 students are limited English speakers and have a range of ability levels. My school doesn't qualify for Title I funds or extra federal funding.
