Welcome to our school library. Here we serve prekindergarten through sixth grade in an urban school district. Our students are bright, eager learners who love reading. Sadly, many of our students leave our school and go to homes that do not contain a wealth of reading materials. Because of this, our students depend on materials they can checkout from the school library. In addition to our high poverty school setting, many of our students are English Language Learners which makes reading more challenging. Developing reading skills, and instilling a love for reading opens the door for future success.
