My students are all at-risk for graduating high school for many factors, such as low socio-economic status, failure in past classes and repeated failure on standardized tests. They all can do the work, but need additional time and extra practice. They work really hard in math class, where a class set of calculators are available. However, there are not enough for them to check out for homework. Many of them are unable to buy one to use at home, so they are unable to do many assignments.
