I have a great bunch of students! I love how they are all so different, but ALL love to learn and read!! Many of my students also come from very challenging backgrounds and family situations. My school is a Title 1 school, which basically means that the vast majority of my students live at or below poverty level status. So much of the world is closed off to them due to their family's financial situations. I have students who have to help take care of their younger siblings, just so mom and dad and work to help them all survive. My students crave the chance to read more, but lack the resources themselves to have books available to read. With your help I can help make an even bigger difference in the lives of all my students, by letting them explore the world through literature!!!
