I currently teach students in grades fourth through eighth at a charter school in New Jersey in a high poverty area. My students have always amazed me with their ability to focus on what is important in life even though most come from a bad home life. They want the ability to succeed in life and I want to make sure that my students get that chance. My students have so much potential, and they demonstrate that to me each and every day!
