My students are bright young children who range in grades K-5. I serve students with autism who are fully included in general education classes. I work at a Title 1 school with a population of about 450 students. My students are in my classroom for a significant period of their day to learn new skills and work on classwork that they may be asked to do in the general education classroom. Our state (California) is in a budgeting crisis and unfortunately, my students are suffering because of it. We need to be able to make copies very quickly and in our classroom so that our students can learn their worksheets in our specialized setting prior to going back to the general education classroom. This will help them become more successful in the general education classroom and is essential for student confidence.
