My students really inspire me to be the best that I possibly can be. On an average day, many of my students go above and beyond what is asked to meet their individual goals. It amazes me how much they can do with limited resources, how little they complain, and how they have learned to adapt. It is not easy keeping education balanced when barriers prevent students from equal opportunities, but I feel that my students have learned to appreciate all that they do have. My 28 5th graders have imaginations beyond belief, and creative abilities that deserve to be pushed to their limits. Their active minds crave new activities, adventures, and modern amenities. They beg me to use technology in the class like it is a privilege. I don't feel it should be that way. I feel that educational technology is a necessity.
