I have a class of 26 children which encompasses differing learning levels and learning needs. They are inquisitive, always ready to engage in new activities and learning experiences, and thrive on almost anything hands-on. Our school has about 1/2 of our school population on free and reduced lunches. With budget constraints, our school and my classroom are behind the technology curve. I want to help my students to be tech savvy and computer literate in this 21st century, so that they are competent to take advantage of all that is available to them and equipped to use the latest technology. Many of my students also draw their life experiences from school and classroom experiences. My goal is to teach them the basic subjects, while integrating technology, STEM, and hands-on interaction for engaged, meaningful, diverse, and authentic learning.
