The students in my room struggle so much in their daily lives. They come from very low income homes, in a rough area populated by gang members. Most live in apartments, and many homes have more than one family inhabiting them. In spite of this, nearly all have the drive to succeed and learn. I do not want their situation to hinder their ability to make it in life.
