My students are high school aged, primarily from low to mid-income families, and very often are the first college-bound members of their families. The students choose to be here, are all interested in architecture, design, and career planning, and have the talent to showcase their ideas on paper and computer screens. The school is a Magnet, and we draw students from all over the city. Some of them travel over an hour each way to attend my classes. The school creates an environment that encourages life-long learning and our college placement rate is over 98%. Many of our former students have graduated from college and are currently working as architects and designers.
