The Mimio Teach Interactive System will provide a vibrant focal point within my classroom. The ability to engage students and overcome attentional issues is key to accessing content. Further, this technology's novel approach will engage students disaffected by the conventional classroom. Example 1: A student will use the system to physically slide two words together, remove the appropriate letter(s), and add an apostrophe to correctly form a contraction. Example 2: A student will understand the difference between a purr and a roar by clicking the sound files attached to each word appearing on the board. I have a scant 180 days to bridge conceptual divides, foster positive learning habits, and deliver essential content. The Mimio Teach will positively impact my pedagogy.
