My students need to see literature come to life in full color! I teach humanities at an inner-city high school in Connecticut. This class is composed of ninth grade students who have not had success in regular English and history classes. Humanities is a program designed to not only build literacy and writing skills, but to teach students in a way that is relevant to them. Our district is short on resources, but full of heart. Supplies are limited, but teachers are dedicated and most students want to learn; however, we are lacking supplies, or the supplies we do have are in poor condition.

About my class
