The majority of the students at our Title 1 school are English learners. My students also have special needs. Because the students in my classroom are all struggling readers, I need to give them opportunities to learn using multi-modalities. Having access to a classroom tool, like a tablet, will give my students the motivation they need to practice their reading skills every day! Many of the families we serve are unable to provide their children with today’s latest technology. If we want to prepare our students and get them started on the path to success they need to have access to the latest technology to compete in the 21st century!
