My students come from a large metropolitan city in Southern California. Inner city schools face many obstacles like overcrowding, budget cuts, and a high turnover of teachers. My students come from a socioeconomically disadvantaged neighborhood, where they feel the pressure of poverty, drugs, and gangs on a daily basis. The majority of my students come from households where education is not a priority. Despite their background, my students have incredibly fresh business minds that I want to help foster and inspire!
