My students are from a wide variety of backgrounds. Some students are from stable households while others are from families with issues. A few of my students have the latest technology gadgets while others have little or no technology in the home. My students are hard workers and extremely self-motivated. Our school has a population of 1,076 of seventh and eighth grade students. We have so many interests in our Art program and would like to update our classroom by providing cameras for the students to enrich their learning experience. Technology is here and by providing the use of cameras in the classroom each student has the opportunity to make observations of daily moments as their inspiration and evoke emotion in the viewer with images of local and diverse cultures. With the use of cameras in our class the students will produce a book of photographed experiences and have a reflection writing for each photo.
