Providing students with tools so that once they add their enthusiasm and time all students have the same opportunities available to them to develop the necessary language skills to successfully soar as lifelong learners. I work with 40 at-risk 4 year old children that have qualified to attend the Child Development class at my school due to their scores on the DIAL 4 screening. These children showed weaknesses in areas such as gross and fine motor skills, math concepts, and most of all their language development. Many come from low income homes/families and do not own adequate resources to promote academic development.
