I am a fifth grade teacher in Illinois. I have 28 students in my classroom and I teach all subjects. My school is in a very diverse neighborhood and there is a great need for supplies. We have just gone through a merger and are working hard to create a culture and climate that will give ALL of our students what they need to be successful in school. Like many schools, we suffer from underfunding and often find things that we need and want to be successful in our rooms and the budget hinders the school from being able to purchase. We are truly grateful to our supports that help us bring a quality education to our students.

About my class
