My students come from just about every background you can imagine. The majority of them are growing up in low-income families whose first language is not English. Over 70% of them qualify for free or reduced lunch, well above the state average of 37%. My classes are racially, economically, and academically diverse. I teach high-achieving, self-motivated honors students as well as students struggling to complete even the baseline assignments at grade level. Every day, I give everything I can to my students to help them achieve success in school and beyond - hopefully, with your generous donation, I can give them just a little bit more.
