This arts project provides challenges for learners at all levels. Art education connects students with their own culture as well as with the wider world. All these materials will be used immediately. While art is important for all children, it's important for kids with special needs. Artistic activities exercises and strengthens the cognitive skills that generally challenge special needs children. The Play-Doh will benefit my tactile learners as they create shapes. The talk and hear phones will allow my auditory learners to strengthen their communication skills. The sensory foam paint will be a big hit as students create masterpieces. The classroom timer will keep everyone on track.
