As a 6th grade math and science teacher in a low-income area, we are in desperate need of technology to better support our students and STEM programs. As a Title I School we are in desperate need of technology to support our underachieving math students. The Chromebooks would help alleviate this deficit will allow my students to utilize the online resources available to them like Khan Academy and Xtramath. To further support our STEM initiatives the Chromebooks to gather research online to help further their inquiries in my science classes. Most of the science projects are researched based that needs to be supported by technology.
