I have a sweet, spunky group of 28 fifth graders. They love hands-on activities especially in social studies, science and enjoy reading all types of books. My class is kind, compassionate, and work together really well collaboratively. I have 14 boys and 14 girls. Students come from a wide range of backgrounds and interests, and they have a large range of academic abilities. I have 11 students that are individual reading plans and three students that are on individual learning plans. Our school is a typical suburban school in Colorado. 550 students grade K-5 attend our school.
