My students attend school in Los Angeles, California where the budget crisis does not afford us the opportunities for additional technology in the classroom. Our students come from high poverty households and sadly, many of our students also lack the motivation, inspiration and encouragement in the home environment which will help them to thrive academically. Technology in the classroom can help bridge the gap.
