My kindergarteners come to school every day eager to learn. The majority of my students come from lower socioeconomic homes where little English is spoken. Due to their economic status, many of them do not have access to a camera at home. A picture is worth a thousand words. I want my students to have the ability to be familiar with taking pictures and telling a story about it. Having a digital camera and printer to print the pictures will enhance their learning by using a different media where they can see and interact in a way that they have not experienced before.
