My students have mild to moderate learning disabilities, in the academic areas of reading, writing, and mathematics. Most of them have difficulties with processing instructions and directions given orally, and need the visual support to maximize retention of information. Moreover, I find that my students learn best when technology is incorporated, because it is not only progressive, but it is visually engaging, and can easily be supplemented with oral teaching. The students from our school are also from low-economic families that do not always have access to these technology tools.
