Our students possess curious minds. They all are eager to learn when done in a fun and meaningful way. I have noticed through years of experience that most if not all thrive when given the opportunity to be creative. I want to give them this opportunity through literature. A great number of them are categorized as English Language Learners (ELL). Reading literature in a math class will not only improve their language proficiency but will also provide them with a venue to express their creativity with mathematics.

About my class
