Our art classroom serves all K–5 students in our small, tight-knit school of fewer than 200 learners. It’s a shared creative space where every child can explore, express themselves, and grow as an artist. Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds, including families from our neighborhood as well as Mexico, Central America, and Southeast Asia. Many face challenges outside of school, but in the art room, they find a place to create, connect, and feel proud of who they are. They are incredibly creative and full of talent, bringing imagination and enthusiasm to every project. Each day, they inspire us with their resilience and creativity.
