I am lucky enough to teach students who desire to read engaging stories, but do not always have the opportunity to do so. Our school often lacks the funding to buy even new textbooks, let alone interesting novels for students to read in their classes. Many of the students who attend my school are on free or reduced lunch, making it difficult to ask for assistance in buying additional books for their classes. I want to give them the opportunity to read an extremely popular book, which will help build on the skills they need to be successful in English class and beyond!

About my class
